The terms that apply when you book a repair or service, or buy a refurbished machine or spare parts from VacLab Floorcare Services.
These terms apply to services and goods provided through this website by iMend IT UK Limited (company number 09210192), registered in England, trading as VacLab Floorcare Services, SparkSpares, DysonFilters.co.uk and DysonSpares.co.uk ("we", "us", "our").
By booking a repair, service, or purchase with us, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, just ask us before booking.
We provide vacuum cleaner repair, servicing, spare parts, and refurbished machines, covering Dyson, Henry, Miele, Shark, Hoover, Sebo and most major brands.
Full details of current services and indicative pricing are on our price list.
Diagnosis is always free, with no obligation to proceed. We'll always confirm the cost of any repair with you before we start work — nothing is carried out without your agreement.
If, once we've opened up a machine, we find a different or additional fault, we'll contact you with an updated quote before doing any further work.
Prices shown on our website are guide prices and may vary depending on the exact fault or model. We'll always confirm the final price before starting chargeable work.
Payment is due on completion of the repair or service, or at the point of sale for machines and parts, unless we've agreed otherwise with you directly.
We accept the following payment methods: BACS (Bank Transfer), Cash, Card (Via Stripe payment link, or over the phone or in person via a Verifone terminal), or Direct Debit (via GoCardless)..
Collection and delivery is available across Sheffield and surrounding areas as listed on our contact page. We'll agree a time with you in advance.
Please make sure any machine handed to us is reasonably clean and free from hazardous material. We reserve the right to decline to work on a machine that poses a health or safety risk.
Repairs and refurbished machines are covered by our guarantee, including our no fix, no fee promise and workmanship warranty. Full details, including what's covered and what isn't, are on our guarantee page.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Refurbished machines are fully inspected, cleaned and tested before sale, and come with a warranty of 3, 6 or 12 months depending on the machine, shown on your receipt.
New parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. Used parts are supplied as tested and serviceable. Consumable items (bags, belts, filters, hoses, brush rolls, batteries, power cords, and similar) are not covered unless faulty on supply.
You're free to decline to proceed at any point up until you've accepted a quote and asked us to go ahead — there's no charge for a diagnosis you don't act on.
Once you've agreed to a repair and work has started, cancelling may mean you're liable for costs already incurred, such as parts ordered specifically for your machine.
If a machine isn't collected within 90 days of us contacting you that it's ready, we may charge a reasonable storage fee, or treat the machine as abandoned. We'll always try to contact you multiple times using the details you've given us.
We'll carry out all work with reasonable care and skill. We're not liable for pre-existing faults or damage not related to the work we've carried out, or for loss of data, settings, or accessories not disclosed to us at drop-off.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else which cannot legally be limited or excluded.
If something isn't right, please contact us first so we can put it right — see Section 13. We aim to resolve any issue fairly and promptly.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
